Not every pressure point needs a coplanar transmitter with a manifold. On pump discharge lines, utility headers, and absolute pressure points, a compact in-line unit that threads straight onto the process is quicker to install and easier to support. The Rosemount 2088 is designed for that job.

The transmitter measures gauge or absolute pressure across five ranges, from a 30 psi upper range limit up to 10,000 psi (689.5 bar). Reference accuracy is ±0.075% of calibrated span, or ±0.065% with the high accuracy option, and rangeability is 50:1, so one model can cover several points in the same plant. The Local Operator Interface lets technicians commission the device at the transmitter, and the HART revision can be switched in the field.
