Remote tanks are expensive to watch. Running wire, installing a SCADA link, or sending someone out to read a gauge costs more than the measurement itself on many sites. The APG LOE removes that barrier: it combines an ultrasonic level sensor with a web enabled Modbus controller, so a site moves to online monitoring over its existing internet connection.

The LOE measures level without contact and publishes readings to Tank Cloud, where you log data, set email or text alarms, and program the sensor remotely from anywhere. As a controller it reads up to 10 APG Modbus level sensors over RS-485 and sends them out over Ethernet TCP/IP, with LAN access as well as online access and two isolated solid state relays for pump or alarm control. One LOE can therefore become the network hub for several MNU Modbus ultrasonic sensors across a site.

Range covers 7 to 180 inches, 1 to 25 feet, or 1.5 to 40 feet depending on the transducer, with 0.25% of detected range accuracy and 0.1 inch resolution. The upper housing is a Polycarbonate/PET blend with a PVDF transducer housing, rated IP65, mounted on 2 inch or 3 inch NPT, and powered by 24 VDC or optional PoE.
