Pneumatic calibration up to 1,500 psi normally depends on a nitrogen cylinder and a regulator, and both add weight and setup time in the field. The Additel 918 generates 95% vacuum to 1,500 psi (100 bar) by hand, with the fine control a calibration point needs.

You pump to the target with the lever, then trim it with a high-quality screw press at a resolution of 0.001 psi (10 Pa, 0.1 mbar). No high-pressure valve is needed, and a specially designed shut-off valve keeps the pressure as stable as possible during the reading. A built-in gas-liquid isolator protects the pump from moisture and dirt, two hand-tight quick connectors take the test gauge and the reference gauge without PTFE tape or wrenches, and the pump weighs 5.7 lb (2.6 kg). For oxygen free applications, the 918 can be special ordered.
