Low pressure calibration is where small disturbances show up. A few inches of water of drift or overshoot is a large share of the span of a differential pressure transmitter, and generating that pressure by hand is slow and hard to repeat. The Additel 773 puts the pressure source and the controller in one benchtop unit designed for this range.

An internal air pump feeds the controller, which reaches a 20% pressure step within 10 seconds and holds it with control stability below 0.003%FS. The measurement side is modular: two bays take Additel 151 digital pressure modules, which can be installed or replaced in 30 seconds or less, and a third bay takes an optional barometric module to switch between gauge and absolute units. The ADT773-LLP covers up to 400 inH2O (1 bar), the ADT773-D up to 2,800 inH2O (7 bar).

For automated systems, the 773 offers RS232, USB, and LAN, an SCPI command set compatible with other common controllers, and three external valve channels, one of them reserved for the 108-KIT contamination prevention system. ACal 9530 software runs the calibration routines automatically. For higher and hydraulic ranges, the Additel 793 uses the same ADT151 module platform.
