A vacuum gauge you cannot trust is worse than no gauge at all: a reading that drifts sends a pump, a leak test, or a packaging cycle out of specification while everything looks fine on the display. The Thyracont VD810 is built to hold a rough vacuum reading steady and to keep it honest across different gases.
The VD810 uses a Piezo resistive ceramic sensor that measures independent of gas type. Whatever the process gas, the reading stays the same, which removes the correction factors that a gas dependent gauge forces on you when you switch from air to argon, nitrogen, or a process mixture. It reads absolute pressure from 2000 down to 1 mbar and relative pressure from -1060 to +1200 mbar, so the same instrument covers vacuum and light overpressure work.
Connection is DN16 ISO-KF with a G1/4 thread, and the wetted parts are stainless steel, Al2O3 ceramic, and FKM, so the sensor stands up to demanding rough vacuum lines and tolerates up to 4 bar absolute overload. The USB-C interface handles data transfer and battery charging, the built in data logger records measurement series at sampling rates from 20 ms to 60 s, and the graphic display with a 4+1 membrane keypad keeps operation simple in the field. For wireless data transfer, select the VD810BT version with Bluetooth LE, which sends readings to the VacuGraph app. When the process runs into fine vacuum, the VD850 adds a Pirani sensor and reaches 5e-5 mbar.
The VD810 is available through AV-TEK Consulting in North America, with application support to match the meter, range, and interface to your process. Explore the full Thyracont range.
