On a hydraulic press or a reciprocating compressor, a dry gauge pointer shakes until the reading is useless and the movement wears out. The Nuova Fima MGS10 DN50 is an anti-vibration gauge built for that service: a 2" stainless steel case designed to be filled with damping liquid, around a copper alloy Bourdon tube and movement.

It reads ranges from 0...30 to 0...6000 psi with accuracy class 1.6 as per EN 837-1. The filled model with glycerine 98% steadies the pointer under pulsating pressure and mechanical vibration. The copper alloy wetted parts suit gaseous or liquid media that do not corrode copper alloys; for aggressive media, the all stainless steel Nuova Fima MGS18 is the alternative.

The MGS10 is also built in 2.5" (63 mm) and 4" (100 mm) dial sizes.
