The ITECH IT8900G/L Series is a high-speed, high-power DC electronic load built for laboratories and production lines that validate power supplies, batteries, and power-electronic modules under realistic load conditions. Three voltage ranges (150 V, 600 V, and 1200 V) cover single-unit power from 2 kW to 54 kW, and master-slave paralleling with current sharing extends total system power to 600 kW, including operation in CV mode.

A high power density of 6 kW in a 4U unit and ultra-low on-resistance (about 0.7 mΩ on the 150 V model) let the load sink high current at low voltage (the 150 V model loads down to 0.075 V at 60 A), which is exactly where fuel cells, supercapacitors, solar cells, and DC-DC converters are difficult to test. The IT8900G adds dynamic loading up to 30 kHz (150 V models) and current slew rates to 30 A/µs, reproducing the transients that switching supplies and DC-DC converters generate; the IT8900L covers the same ranges with a 10 kHz dynamic response.

Eight working modes (G-series) including CC, CV, CR, CP and combined modes, plus battery-discharge, OCP/OPP, short-circuit, list, and automatic test functions, cover a broad test matrix. Built-in LAN, USB, RS232, GPIB, CAN, and analog interfaces support SCPI control and system integration.
