The ITECH IT8700P+ Series is a high-speed, multi-channel DC electronic load built for engineers who test multi-output devices and want several independent loads in one chassis. Removable modules let you build the load around the device under test: nine module models in single- and dual-channel versions span 150 V and 600 V, and the modules run alongside original IT8700P modules in the same mainframe, protecting prior investment.

Each module reaches current slew rates up to 12 A/µs across continuous, pulse, and toggle dynamic modes, and a faster control loop holds the set current without overshoot, avoiding nuisance trips of the DUT’s protection and raising throughput. Three current ranges per module improve accuracy and lower ripple, with low-range resolution down to µA/mA levels suited to standby and idle (Energy Star) compliance testing. Low internal resistance allows stable loading down to zero volts (minimum loading voltage ≤0.1 V in low/medium ranges), which is where fuel cells, supercapacitors, and DC-DC converters are hard to test.

Voltage and current measurement runs at 250 kHz for fast I-V characterization, and master-slave paralleling extends the system to 16 channels (up to 4800 W) with 0.1% current sharing. Built-in LAN, USB, and RS232 with SCPI support synchronous, multi-channel automation.
