The ITECH IT8400 Series is a high-performance DC electronic load for laboratories and production lines that test high-voltage power supplies, batteries, fuel cells, and power-electronic components. Two voltage levels (600 V and 1200 V) cover single-unit power from 6 kW to 54 kW, and master-slave paralleling with current sharing extends total system power to 600 kW.

Its fast double-power loading capacity lets every model, from 6 kW to 600 kW, sink twice its rated power within 3 seconds (below 30 °C). That removes the need to oversize the load for peak events and supports instantaneous high-power discharge, simulating DC motor start-up, transient power-supply overloads, and high-power battery or fuel-cell discharge. Dynamic loading runs to 25 kHz with adjustable rise/fall slopes and a minimum current rise/fall time of 15 µs, reproducing the transients that switching supplies and batteries generate.

Three current measurement ranges resolve down to 40 µA, giving the accuracy needed for solar, power-semiconductor, and automotive-electronics testing, while a built-in fuel-cell AC impedance method (4-wire Kelvin) supports electrochemical characterization. Eight working modes, battery discharge, OCP/OPP, list, and automatic test functions, plus LAN, USB, RS232, GPIB, CAN, and analog/IO interfaces with a LabVIEW driver and SCPI, support full system integration.
