The ITECH Electronics IT7900E Regenerative Grid Simulator is a high-performance programmable four-quadrant AC/DC power source developed for advanced grid simulation, regenerative energy testing, and power electronics validation. Designed for laboratories, R&D environments, and automated test systems, the IT7900E combines grid simulation, power amplification, and energy recovery capabilities within a compact high-density platform.

Built with advanced SiC technology, the IT7900E delivers up to 21kVA in a 3U chassis and supports parallel operation up to 10MVA. The system can simulate real-world utility grid conditions including voltage sags, surges, harmonic distortion, phase jumps, and frequency variations. Its programmable output impedance and waveform editing functions enable accurate testing of PCS systems, energy storage platforms, EV charging systems, V2X applications, microgrids, and renewable energy converters.

The IT7900E also supports PHiL applications through its full four-quadrant power amplifier functionality with ultra-fast analog response time. Integrated compliance testing capabilities support IEC61000-4-11, IEC61000-4-13, IEC61000-4-14, and IEC61000-4-28 standards, making the platform suitable for regulatory and grid compliance verification.

With regenerative operation and up to 88% energy recovery efficiency, the IT7900E reduces power consumption, HVAC load, and operating costs while supporting demanding AC and DC power testing environments.
