The ITECH Electronics IT7900 Regenerative Grid Simulator High Voltage Series is a high-performance programmable AC grid simulator engineered for advanced power electronics testing, renewable energy validation, and grid compliance applications. Designed for demanding laboratory and industrial environments, the IT7900 series operates as a full four-quadrant regenerative grid simulator and power amplifier, enabling both power sourcing and sinking with energy recovery capability.
The system supports AC, AC+DC, and three-phase output modes with voltage ranges up to 700 VL-N and 1050 VL-N, making it suitable for testing photovoltaic inverters, PCS systems, energy storage systems (ESS), V2X/BOBC systems, microgrids, and Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHiL) simulations. With up to 88% energy regeneration efficiency, the IT7900 series reduces power consumption and cooling requirements during high-power testing.
The integrated touch-screen interface, built-in oscilloscope, harmonic analysis, programmable output impedance, and arbitrary waveform generation capabilities allow engineers to simulate real-world grid disturbances including voltage sag, surge, frequency variation, phase jump, LVRT, and harmonic injection scenarios. The platform also supports regulatory and immunity testing based on IEC61000 standards.
