A reference probe sets the floor of every temperature calibration: each sensor checked against it inherits its error. The AccuMac AM17XX series is built to keep that error small and documented, with a sensing element designed to protect the platinum wire from contamination at high temperature, a support structure balanced for hysteresis and shock, and an ISO 17025 accredited calibration on every probe.

The model follows the range. The AM1710 covers -40°C to 160°C with a stainless steel sheath; the AM1730 extends to 420°C and the AM1751 to 670°C, both with an Inconel™ sheath. Straight probes suit wells and baths, and a 90° bend version is available on each model.

With the Additel smart connector the probes work with the Additel 878 reference dry well, the Additel 875 dry block calibrator, the Additel 835 portable calibration bath and the Additel 282 dual-channel reference thermometer.
