In a temperature lab the SPRT is the standard that everything else is checked against: working reference PRTs, industrial RTDs, and the uniformity of baths and dry wells. Its drift decides how often the whole chain has to be revalidated, which is why stability and drift matter as much as accuracy.

The AccuMac AM1760 (100 Ω) and AM1762 (25 Ω) are secondary SPRTs designed for daily use from -200°C to 670°C. The sensing element protects the platinum wire from contamination at high temperature, and the support structure balances hysteresis, mechanical shock and thermal shock. Each probe ships with an ISO 17025 accredited calibration; 12 in and 20 in versions include a carrying case.

With the Additel smart connector the SPRTs work with the Additel 282 dual-channel reference thermometer, the Additel 878 reference dry well and the Additel 835 portable calibration bath.
