On a production line or a busy calibration bench, the pressure controller sets the pace. Waiting for each point to settle, or swapping out a whole instrument to change range, adds up across hundreds of devices. The Additel 783 is optimized for speed without giving up accuracy: a typical 20% pressure step settles within 10 seconds, with control stability below 0.003%FS.

Four base units cover differential pressure with the ADT783-D and gauge pressure up to 1000, 3600, or 6000 psi. Each takes two Additel 151 dual-range pressure modules, installed or replaced in 30 seconds or less: opening the cabin door releases pressure automatically for safe removal. An optional barometric module adds absolute pressure, and an external Additel 161 module can be used to check or calibrate the internal modules on site.

For automated systems, the 783 offers RS232, USB, and LAN with an SCPI command set compatible with common controllers, three external valve channels, volt-free alarm contacts, and automated control of an external vacuum pump. The 108-KIT contamination prevention system protects the controller from process contamination, and ACal 9530 software runs calibration routines automatically.
