Dial gauges in hazardous areas are hard to read accurately, wear out, and give no warning when something drifts. A full intrinsically safe calibrator is too much for routine monitoring. The Additel 601Ex sits in between: an economical digital gauge built for explosive gas atmospheres.

The 601Ex carries North American CLASS I, Division 1 and CLASS I, Zone 0 (AEx ia IIC T4 Ga) markings as well as EU II 1G EX ia IIC T4 Ga. Accuracy is 0.5% FS from -14.5 psi to 15,000 psi, fully compensated from -20°C to 50°C. The stainless steel case, welded sensor, IP67 rating, and 3X overpressure capability protect it in rough field conditions, and a large backlit display with a trend bar can be read from a few meters away.
