Process technicians carry a calibrator to source mA, read RTDs and thermocouples, measure pressure, and power the loop, often in tight spaces and bad weather. The Additel 226 does all of it from one handheld unit with a smartphone-like touchscreen, a built-in barometer, and an IP67 rating with a 1 meter drop test.

Electrical accuracy reaches 0.015% RD + 0.005% FS, thermocouple measurement benefits from improved cold junction compensation, and two pressure module ports take external Additel 161 pressure modules. With two sensors, the high static differential pressure mode measures DP to 0.002% FS at high static pressure, and onboard apps cover leak tests, safety valve tests, and analog transmitter calibration. The non-Ex version measures up to 300V AC with true RMS. For hazardous areas, the 226Ex is certified ATEX and IECEx, Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, with up to 35 hours of battery life.
