Every device connected to a pressure controller is a possible source of contamination. Particles and residues from used gauges and transmitters travel back into the controller and gradually restrict valves, lines and filters, which shows up as drifting control performance and more frequent service.

The ADT108-KIT addresses this at the source. It connects to the drive valve channel that the Additel 773 and Additel 783 reserve for the CPS, and the controller firmware uses it to purge between pressure cycles.
